What material are WALUTAP fittings made of?

All WALUTAP fittings are made from solid AISI 316 surgical steel (V4A). This high-quality material is not only particularly robust and durable, but also completely rustproof and corrosion-resistant.

Unlike conventional faucets, these deliberately avoid coated metals – instead, we use solid stainless steel, the same material used in medical technology. This guarantees maximum hygiene, safety in daily use, and a long service life.

Are WALUTAP fittings suitable for pure water and filter systems?

Yes. The fittings are specifically designed for use with pure water and filter systems. Thanks to the completely silicone-free direct connection, the filtered water remains pure and hygienically clean.

Furthermore, the 3-way models feature a separate outlet for filtered water, ensuring that tap water and filtered water are kept completely separate. This makes the faucets ideal for use with reverse osmosis systems, activated carbon filters, or other common drinking water filtration systems.
